The Emerging Markets Companion (EMC) website compiles news, pricing data and fundamental research from developing countries around the world. It presents a comprehensive review of emerging markets in a well-edited and convenient format for global investors, multinational managers and academics.

 Who We Are

EMC was launched in June of 1996 by Paul Cilia and Chris Saxman. EMC has been reviewed and rated highly by the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Barrons, SmartMoney and many other financial publications. EMC provides news, closing prices and research from the major emerging markets financial and regional centers.

Paul served as chief Emerging Markets financial engineer for Credit Suisse First Boston for five years, where he designed and developed the technological infrastructure and analytical systems as solutions for traders, investment bankers and clients. Chris served as the head trader of Mexican Peso-denominated debt at the Weston Group from 1993 to 1995, when he joined Euro Brokers Maxcor, Inc. to help that firm establish a presence in the Mexican local debt markets.
