In the week of 17-21 May the average rate of the Tenge was decreasing continuously from KZT 118.04 to KZT 119.20 per one Dollar on the KASE. The daily traded volume fluctuated between a minimum of USD 3,500,000 on Monday and a maximum USD 12,100,000 on Wednesday.

Deutsche Marks were traded during the week at a low of KZT 64.51 and a high of KZT 65.05 per DM 1. The total traded volume was DM 60,000.

Euros were not traded on the KASE.

The National Bank' exchange rate for the Tenge fell from KZT 117.9 to KZT 118.5 on the Dollar during the week. (IRBIS)
