From 10-14 May the average rate of the Tenge was increasing on the KASE from 116.96 to KZT 116.5.19 per one Dollar. The daily traded volume of dollars increased from USD 10,295,000 on Monday, 10 May, to USD 14,995,000 on Wednesday, 12 May. On Thursday, the Tenge decreased in value to KZT 117.08 per USD 1 and it closed at KZT 117.58 on Friday, 14 May. The daily traded volume fell to USD 7,610,000 on Friday after being USD 12,980,000 on the previous day. Deutsche Marks were traded every day last week at a low of KZT 64.00 and a high of KZT 65.00 per DM 1. The total traded volume reached DM 76,000. Euros were traded on Monday, 10 May at KZT 125.67, the traded volume was Euro 15,000. On Thursday, this currency fell to KZT 124.81 and the traded volume totalled Euro 5,000.
