Last week two transactions were closed on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) for preferred shares in Kazakhstan's giant copper producer Kazakhmys Corporation: 47,742 shares were sold for KZT 225.30 (USD 2.65) per share. These shares have been traded actively on the OTC market at a price ranging between KZT 120-320 per one share. Two deals were also closed for ordinary shares in the bakery Karaganda-Nan (KASE's Non-listing Board). The price of 15,000 shares ranged between KZT 0.90-1.20. (Panorama)
