Primary Auctions
On 19 April the Finance Ministry made a second issue of Dollar-denominated 6-month T-bills. The auction was almost twice oversubscribed. However, the placed volume exceeded the planned USD 2.0m by merely USD 0.1m. The average yield rose slightly to 7.58%.

The average yield on Dollar-denominated 3-month T-bills was 7.33% at the second auction of these securities held on 20 April. The placed volume reached USD 4.5m though the issuer's target was USD 3.0m.
The result of the week that ended on 23 April was that the Finance Ministry raised a total of USD 6.6m (KZT 752.4m) with a planned volume of USD 5.0m and repaid KZT 220.8m. (IRBIS)
