From 12-16 April, four transactions were reported on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE). On 12 April, 3,000 preferred shares in Kazakhtelecom (KZTKp) were sold for KZT 3m (around USD 26,300). Two large transactions were concluded on 14 and 15 April for the common shares in Kazakhmys Corporation. The volume of the two deals totalled KZT 10,718,052. (USD 94,018). The price of the shares increased more than 90.0% to KZT 855-912 per share compared to that on the previous week. The fourth transaction was concluded for common shares in the investment fund Vash Vybor (Your Choice): 715 shares were sold for KZT 50,050. (IRBIS)
