The latest auction of 6-month T-bills held on 29 March was undersubscribed. The raised volume, KZT 50m (USD 0.57m), fell well short of the planned KZT 200m. The average yield remained unchanged since the previous auction24.72%.

Compound Yields vs. Volumes at Primary Auctions of 6-month T-bills

On 30 March at the 231st auction of 3-month T-bills, the average yield was 24.0% for the fifth time in a row. The issuer raised KZT 912.1m (USD 10.42m) exceeding the planned KZT 700m.
To summarise the results of the week that ended on 2 April, the Finance Minister raised KZT 962.1m with a planned volume of KZT 900m and it paid back KZT 8,863.6m. (IRBIS)
