From 30 October to 6 November, the price of the Dollar increased by 20 points to KZT 82.20 on the Almaty Financial Instrument Exchange (AFINEX). In October, the Tenge devaluation rate was quite steep with the price of the Dollar rising by KZT 1.33.
Last week, the daily traded volumes fluctuated sharply. The minimum was USD 530,000 on Tuesday and the maximum was USD 10,125,000 on Friday.
No trades were reported by AFINEX for the Deutsche Mark last week.
