During the week of September 21-25, the Tenge decreased slightly to 80.20-80.40 per USD on the Almaty Financial Instrument Exchange (AFINEX) from 79.70-79.98 during the previous week. Traded volumes fluctuated significantly with a minimum of USD 360,000 on Monday and a maximum of USD 12,195,000 on Wednesday. On Friday, September 25, the traded volume decreased to a conservative level of USD 4,300,000.

Deutsche Marks were not traded on the AFINEX last week.
