The Dollar/Tenge rate went from 78.80 to 79.00 at the Almaty Financial Instrument Exchange (AFINEX) between August 31 and September 4. Volumes were fluctuating sharply during the week with a minimum of US $5,815,000 on Tuesday and a maximum of US $14,495,000 on Thursday.
