At last week's auction

Compound Yields vs. Volumes at Primary Auctions of 3-month T-bills

The average yield on the latest 6-month T-bill issue increased to 18.99% at an auction on August 24. The declining trade volumes reflect the Kazakhstani bank's strategy to keep long dollar positions rather than hold government securities.
