Starting July 27, the common stock of the Almaty candy factory Rakhat (KASE codeRAHT) has been put on the non-listing board (QTS) of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE). The joint stock company Rakhat is one of Kazakhstan's largest producers of candies. It has an authorised capital of US $7.7m which is fully paid. Three registered issues total 2,400,000 shares with a par value of KZT 250.0.
In addition, beginning July 29 the following financial instruments have been traded on the non-listing board of the KASE:
Common and preferred shares (with codes ULBA and ULBAp, respectively) of the Ulbinsky Metal Plant (the Oskemen-based producer of uranium and beryllium products and ceramics);
Common and preferred shares (AZCR and AZCRp) of Aktubinsk Chromium Compounds Plant (in the town of Aktubinsk);
Common shares (HSBK) in Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan;
Common and preferred shares (SAPM and SAPMp) of the Sary-Arka Polymetal Plant (based in the Karaganda region), and the Margarine Plant (KMRZ, KMRZp), based in the city of Karaganda.

No trades were reported on the KASE last week.
On the OTC market not covered within the KASE Quotation Trade System (QTS), after last week's fall, shares in Kazakhmys rose to KZT 1,777.90 (US $23) while Kazchrom shares fell to KZT 1,971.15 (US $25.5). The KS index stood at 104.28 on July 30.
