The Tenge continues to decrease as currency inflows to the country decrease due to the fall in oil and metal prices. The National Bank of Kazakhstan (NBK) acts as the major seller of the Dollar and makes all efforts to meet the demand for dollars and keep the current rates. Though supported by the NBK, the Tenge has fallen to 77.5 from 77.05 at the AFINEX (Almaty Financial Instrument Exchange) over the last month.
